First Appointment Only:
A full traditional diagnosis (FTD) is included in the first session. This involves a comprehensive assessment of your symptoms—physical, mental, and emotional. We will discuss your medical history, including childhood illnesses, digestion, sleep, and other factors. I will examine your tongue and take your pulse on both wrists to formulate a complete Chinese medical diagnosis, after which treatment will begin.

Treatment may include a combination of the following techniques, based on your diagnosis:

• Acupuncture – Insertion of fine needles

• Moxibustion (Moxa) – The burning of a Chinese herb to warm specific points

• Cupping – Suction cups to bring stagnant Qi and blood to the surface, promoting healing

• Guasha – Skin scraping with oil to improve blood flow and muscle healing

• Tuina – Chinese medical massage

• Nutritional and Lifestyle Advice – Lifestyle and dietary recommendations based on Eastern principles

• 1 hour – £55 (for adults)

• 1 hour – £50 (for teens and students, ages 13-23)

• 45 minutes – £45 (for paediatrics, ages 0-12)

For All Follow-Up Appointments:
Each session begins with a discussion about your progress. I will ask how you're feeling, what improvements you've noticed, and any other relevant details. I will also examine your tongue and take your pulse again. Based on this, I will proceed with the appropriate treatment.

Throughout your healing journey, I will ensure you're informed about my thoughts and findings. I am always happy to answer any questions and will guide you every step of the way.

In this consultation, I will analyse the unique marks, colours, lines, and shapes on your face to reveal insights about your physical, mental, and emotional health. Just as your tongue can reflect past childhood infections, your face holds clues about your history and future.

We may discover signs of food intolerances, breathing issues, or stress from overwork. It could also point to underlying conditions like thyroid or pancreas imbalances. The best medicine is preventative, so why wait? Understanding your face now can empower you to take charge of your health for the future, forewarned is forearmed.

After submitting a comprehensive questionnaire, we will explore your constitutional mind/body type (dosha) and any current imbalances. During the hour, I will discuss your symptoms and offer tailored advice to help bring you back into balance.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and share any other concerns. I may suggest simple dietary changes, tips on how to improve your eating habits, and offer lifestyle adjustments such as abhyanga (self-massage). Together, we'll also discuss the most suitable type of exercise and the best times of day for your routine.

I believe in the power of understanding, so I will explain the reasoning behind each recommendation, ensuring you understand why it’s beneficial. My approach encourages gradual change, so I suggest you start by making one or two small changes at a time. After a week, assess how you feel, and you'll likely be more open to adding further adjustments as you experience positive results. Think of it as an experiment!
